Our Story

Marmalade and the Moon began at a time when life unexpectedly slowed down.

After reaching a point of physical and mental burnout in her day job, Jen found herself needing more than just rest - she needed space to heal. As the days became quieter, she searched for something creative to fill the hours, never imagining that it would become such an important part of her recovery.

What started as learning the new skill of digital drawing soon became so much more than a hobby. With every illustration, Jen found herself completely immersed in capturing the unique personality, spirit and soul of each beautiful animal she drew. In those moments of creativity, she discovered calm, joy and a gentle way to reconnect with herself.

Along the journey, one particularly curious little fox appeared. Marmalade quickly became the heart of it all.

Inspired by Jen's lifelong love of nature, wildlife and the untamed beauty of the outdoors, Marmalade embodies a sense of wonder, adventure and imagination. With a curious spirit, she sets off to discover the world's most incredible creatures, big and small, while a touch of magic from the moon reminds us that healing, creativity and wonder often grow in the quietest moments.

Together, Marmalade and the Moon became more than a name - it became a celebration of the natural world, the stories every animal has to tell, and the belief that creativity has the power to heal.
